Afghanistan


      The capital city is Kabul. Afghanistan is currently a war zone. The Hindu Kush mountains, the second highest mountain range is found partly in Afghanistan. The colors on the Afghani flag are red, white, black and green. The country is about the size of Texas. The total land area is about 250,000 sq. miles. The president of Afghanistan is Hamid Karzai. Some areas of Afghanistan are controlled by a dangerous group called the Taliban.

Please pray for the people of Afghanistan. There has been war there for many years.

    Hi Hannah. What country are you going to put next? I've never been to Afghanistan but my best friend was a missionary there. Also, my sister served there for 8 months as a nurse with the U.S. Army. I am enjoying having you in my class. Welcome to SRCS.
